[origin: EP0292755A1] The cap (1) consists of an outer cap sleeve (2), an inner sleeve (3) arranged in this cap sleeve (2), and a clip (6) attached to the outside of the cap sleeve (2). A connecting element (5) which can be inserted from outside into the cap sleeve (2) and the inner sleeve (3) is provided for fastening the clip (6) to the cap sleeve (2). The connecting element (5) passes through a bore in a fastening eye (7) of the clip (6) and has in its circumferential surface an annular groove (12) in which a necked-down portion (15, 16) at the end of the inner sleeve (3) catches. In this way, a connection which is simple to produce and assemble is provided between the clip (6), the cap sleeve (2) and the inner sleeve (3), which connection at the same time forms a tight closure at the end of the inner sleeve (3). A cap head (22) can be inserted from outside into the connecting element (5). The cap head (22) surrounds the connecting element (5) from the outside and permits a different design and colouring for the closure at the end of the cap. <IMAGE>
