Abstract (en)
In particular, thermoplastic or thermoset elements of complex geometry often have inner lumina of small cross-section. The cleaning of such elements is usually performed by flushing with a liquid rinsing medium, the result often being unsatisfactory since residually attached particles are not taken along and are only dislodged later when the element is put to its intended use. According to the invention, by ultrasonic bombardment of the flowing rinsing medium and/or of the element, similarly oscillating cavitations are produced in the flushed inner lumina of the element. This makes more intensive cleaning possible. The associated device is provided with an ultrasonic generating device with sonotrode (10), which either has in its direction of oscillation, at least partially, a central bore (11) for the rinsing medium to flow through or its effective surface (113) lies in the near field range for the inner lumina of the element (1, 100) to be flushed. <IMAGE>

Insbesondere thermo- oder duroplastische Bauteile komplexer Geometrie haben häufig Innenlumina mit geringen Querschnitten. Die Reinigung solcher Bauteile erfolgt üblicherweise durch Durchfluß eines flüssigen Spülmediums, wobei das Ergebnis häufig unbefriedigend ist, da restangebundene Teilchen nicht mitgenommen werden und erst später beim bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch des Bauteiles abgelöst werden. Gemäß der Erfindung entstehen durch Ultraschall-Beaufschlagung des strömenden Spülmediums und/oder des Bauteiles gleichermaßen schwingende Kavitationen in den durchspülten Innenlumina des Bauteiles. Dadurch ist eine intensivere Reinigung möglich. Bei der zugehörigen Vorrichtung ist eine Ultraschallerzeugungseinrichtung mit Sonotrode (10) vorhanden, die entweder in ihrer Schwingungsrichtung zumindest teilweise eine zentrische Bohrung (11) zum Durchfluß des Spülmediums aufweist oder deren Wirkungsfläche (113) im Nahfeldbereich für die durchzuspülenden Innenlumina des Bauteiles (1, 100) liegt.
