A device for catalytic purification of exhaust gases, especially from internal-combustion engines, is specified in which a catalyser support, arranged in a housing, is supported against the housing by a corrugated part of temperature and corrosion-resistant metal wire. In this arrangement, the corrugation of the part is constructed in an omega-shape, such that, in the installed state, the mutually facing flank parts of the respective adjacent corrugation peaks and troughs are located on one another. <IMAGE>

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zur katalytischen Reinigung von Abgasen, insbesondere von Brennkraftmaschinen, angegeben, bei der ein in einem Gehäuse (1) angeordneter Katalysatorträger (4) gegenüber dem Gehäuse (1) durch ein gewelltes Teil (5) aus temperatur- und korrosionsbeständigem Metalldraht abgestützt ist. Dabei ist die Wellung des Teiles omegaförmig ausgebildet derart, daß im eingebauten Zustand die aufeinander zugerichteten Flankenteile der jeweils benachbarten Wellenberge (6) und Wellentäler (7) aneinander liegen.
