Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0292891A1] The roll (32), which consists of a winding core (12) and printed products (14) wound thereon in overlapping fashion (S) with a winding band (10), is mounted rotatably, and freely supported, on two endless carrier belts (28, 28'). The carrier belts (28, 28') are each guided round two rotatably mounted rollers (24, 26), of which the roller (26) is in each case in active connection with a drive (52). The winding band (10) becomes detached from the roll (32) in the region where the roll (32) bears on the carrier belts (28, 28') and is wound under constant tensile stress onto a band reel (48). The printed products (14) which become detached from the roll (32) during unwinding are transported away from the carrier belts (28, 28') and fed by means of a despatch conveyor (58) to the next processing station. <IMAGE>
