In the device, use is made of a covering hose (24) which surrounds the feed hose (23). In order to detect the water level in the machine and/or in the covering hose (24), the latter is connected to the washing container (2) via a connection hose (14). A valve, connected upstream of the feed hose (23), is constructed as a twin valve (20), one valve of which is controlled in dependence on the program and the other is controlled by a safety level monitor (16). The latter is connected via air pipes (12, 15) on the one hand to an air dome (10), which detects the level in the washing container (2), and on the other hand via the connection hose (14) to the space between the feed hose (23) and the covering hose (24). <IMAGE>

Die Vorrichtung zum Schutz gegen Wasserschäden bei Geschirrspülern und dergl. macht von einem Hüllschlauch (24) Gebrauch, der den Zulaufschlauch (23) umschließt. Zur Erfassung des Wasserniveaus in der Maschine und/oder im Hüllschlauch (24) ist der Hüllschlauch (24) über einen Verbindungsschlauch (14) mit dem Spülbehälter (2) verbunden. Ein dem Zulaufschlauch (23) vorgeschaltetes Ventil ist als Doppelventil (20) ausgebildet, von denen das eine programmabhängig und das andere von einem Sicherheits-Niveauwächter (16) gesteuert wird. Der Sicherheits-Niveauwächter (16) ist über Luftleitungen (12, 15) einerseits mit einem das Niveau im Spülbehälter (2) erfassenden Windkessel (10) und andererseits über den Verbindungsschlauch (14) mit dem Raum zwischen dem Zulaufschlauch (23) und dem Hüllschlauch (24) verbunden.
