Stove characterised in that it is provided with an airtight retractable joining device, which is essentially constituted by a frame (1) for receiving and guiding the stove to be inserted (2), and by an element (3) for airtight closure of the circumference of the upper smoke outlet part (4) of the stove to be inserted (2) and for connection to a branch tube to a smoke pipe, this device making possible insertion into an open-hearth chimney, the height of the stove opening of which is smaller than the height of the device in operating position. <IMAGE>
