Abstract (en)
A vaccum switch is intended to receive an envelope with an improved resistance in the event of overloading by a short-circuit current. The vacuum switch receives an encapsulation of resin-impregnated fibres or strips, and a thermal insulating layer which is arranged between the wound body of threads or strips and the wall of the switch. The insulating layer may be formed from mouldings, e.g. half shells, which consist of ceramic felt or aramide fibres. The improved vacuum switch is suitable for use in an explosion or fire hazard environment. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Vakuumschaltröhre soll eine Umhüllung mit verbesserter Standzeit bei der Überlastung durch einen Kurzschlußstrom erhalten. Die Vakuumschaltröhre erhält eine Kapselung aus harzgetränkten Fäden oder Bändern sowie eine thermische Isolierschicht, die zwischen dem Wickelkörper aus Fäden oder Bändern und der Wandung der Schaltröhre angeordnet ist. Die Isolierschicht kann durch Formstücke, z. B. Halbschalen gebildet sein, die aus Keramik-Filz oder Aramid-Fasern bestehen. Die verbesserte Vakuumschaltröhre eignet sich zum Einsatz in schlagwetter- oder explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung.
