With a radio transmission method for transferring information between a central processing station (1) and a multiplicity of outer stations (S1...Sn), in which there is only one radio channel available, the information (INF) is transferred from the outer stations (S1...Sn) to the central processing station (1) by means of an interrogation. The interrogation is divided up into a short composite interrogation (SA) in which it is detected whether an item of information (INF) is present at all at any outer station (S1...Sn) and into a comparatively long interrogation cycle (AZ) in which the outer stations (S1...Sn) are successively interrogated after time intervals. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Funkübertragungsverfahren zur Uebermittlung von Informationen zwischen einer Zentrale (1) und einer Mehrzahl von Aussenstationen (S1,..,Sn), bei dem nur ein Funkkanal zur Verfügung steht, wird die Information (INF) von den Aussenstationen (S1,..,Sn) zu der Zentrale (1) durch eine Abfrage übermittelt. Die Abfrage teilt sich auf in eine kurze Summenabfrage (SA), bei der festgestellt wird, ob überhaupt bei irgendeiner Aussenstation (S1,..,Sn) eine Information (INF) vorliegt, und einen vergleichsweise langen Abfragezyklus (AZ), in dem die Aussenstationen (S1,..,Sn) zeitlich getrennt nacheinander abgefragt werden.
