[origin: EP0293706A1] The screwing tool has an electric motor (3), which is accommodated in a housing (1) and drives a drive shaft (6) via a gearing (4). The housing (1) is formed by an extruded profile part which possesses two receiving spaces (16, 17) and is provided with cooling ribs (15) on its outside. The design of the extruded profile permits simple manufacture of the housing (1). The cooling ribs prevent excessive heating of the housing (1). <IMAGE>
