[origin: EP0293850A2] In a brick roller blind housing (1) having an essentially U-shaped cross-section open to the bottom, the side walls, the cover and the end slabs consist of brick slabs (2, 3), which are in the form of web slabs, each consisting of an outer wall (2a, 3a), an inner wall (2b, 3b) arranged at a distance from the latter, and a plurality of intermediate webs (2c) which run perpendicular to said walls. Provided on the upper edge of the side wall slabs (2) are respective, essentially square recesses (rebates) (6) in which the ends (3') of the cover slabs (3) engage, into which reinforcing rods (11) are inserted and which are filled with mortar (10). Provided at the bottom edge of each side wall slab (3) are open-bottom recesses (12) into which reinforcing rods (11) are inserted and which are filled with mortar (10).
