[origin: EP0293874A2] Starting from an oscillator, which successively assumes a respective charged and discharged state, and which forms the primary circuit transmitter in a power supply designed on the principle of a resonant converter, a reversing pulse is generated in each case after each initiation of the charged state, as a function of the occurrence of current and/or voltage values which are relevant to resonance in the oscillator, which reversing pulse, with the aid of switching means, terminates the charged state and initiates the discharged state. <IMAGE>
