In a known fume-extracting hood, air is drawn in via a supply air opening by means of a fan and conveyed to a filter arranged in front of the fan in the direction of flow. By means of the direct suction via the supply air opening, there may be draughts in the area surrounding the fume-extracting hood. In order to avoid draughts, with at least constant efficiency of the fume-extracting hood, the fan (7) is arranged in such a manner that suction air (A) flows through the filter (8) and compressed air (A) into a duct (9) which is designed in such a manner that the air flow (A) emerging from it is conducted into the region of the side of the filter (8) facing away from the fan (7) and has a high induction capacity for taking with it air (B) which is loaded with odorous substances and cooking fumes. The fume-extracting hood is suitable for circulating air and outgoing air operation. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einer bekannten Dunstabzugshaube wird mittels eines Ventilators über eine Zuluftöffnung Luft angesaugt und zu einem in Strömungsrichtung von dem Ventilator angeordneten Filter gefördert. Durch das direkte Ansaugen über die Zuluftöffnung können in der Umgebung der Dunstabzugshaube Zugerscheinungen auftreten. Um bei mindestens gleichbleibender Wirksamkeit der Dunstabzugshaube die Zugerscheinungen zu vermeiden, ist der Ventilator (7) so angeordnet, daß Ansaugluft (A) durch das Filter (8) und Druckluft (A) in einen Kanal (9) strömt, der so ausgebildet ist, daß die aus ihm austretende Luftströmung (A) in den Bereich der dem Ventilator (7) abgewandten Seite des Filters (8) geführt ist und ein hohes Induktionsvermögen zur Mitnahme von mit Geruchsstoffen und Kochdunst belasteter Luft (B) aufweist. Die Dunstabzugshaube ist für den Umluft- und Abluftbetrieb geeignet.
