Abstract (en)
The technical sector of the invention is that of medium-calibre ammunition comprising a percussion fuse (3) especially with a base, and a ballistic nose (6). The method according to the invention involves incorporating in the projectile means making it possible, after an impact on a target, to obtain a deformation of the nose (6) such as to slow the penetration of the projectile into the target, thereby making it possible to increase the driving force of the movable percussion mass of the fuse and to enhance the specific sensitivity of the ammunition.
