Abstract (en)
The system makes it possible to maintain multiple charges which are loaded in a projectile rotating about its longitudinal axis (X X') and which are jettisoned on the trajectory at one end of the latter. Each stage of the charge comprises at least two separate parts (6, 7) to be separated laterally at the moment of jettisoning, the projectile having a casing (5) inside which said charge is placed. For each stage, means (8, 28) for fastening the parts of said stage arranged in such a way that each stage forms a compact assembly so as not to give rise against the casing (5) to high radial stresses attributable to the centrifugal force generated by the rotating projectile. The fastening means are retractable at the moment of the jettisoning of the parts, by means of weights which undergo the centrifugal force. <IMAGE>
