Abstract (en)
[origin: WO8804562A1] These ski bindings have a slide (11) with a U-shaped cross section carrying a part of the binding, and a forked guide plate (8) mounted on the ski and serving to guide the slide (11), said plate being provided with at least one toothed bar (8c). Associated with the latter is an engagement element (14), of the lever type, provided with engagement teeth (14c) mounted to pivot on the slide (11) and actuatable by an adjusting component (17 or 20). In order to achieve locking of the slide (11) in relation to the guide plate (8) not only by form-locking but in addition by a force connection (friction), the tops (8a, 8b) of the guide plate (8) have an elastic configuration approximately transversely to the direction of adjustment, the adjustment component (17) presses, in the engagement position of the engagement element (14), the tops (8a, 8b) against the side-pieces (11, 11b) of the slide (11), and the engagement element (14) is in the form of a lever with one arm.
