The socket box has an elongated plastic housing, consisting of a base cover (1) and a hood-shaped upper part (2), detachably connected thereto, in which housing there are arranged at least one socket (3) and a connector (4), which is electrically connected to the socket and is arranged in a longitudinal end of the housing, together with at least one communications insert (5). The socket (3) and the communications insert (5) are surrounded on the access side by a covering frame (6) held in a detachable manner on the upper part (2). The mains region (7), holding the socket (3) or sockets (3) and the connector (4), of the housing (1, 2) is electrically screened with respect to the housing region (8) holding the communications insert or inserts (5) by a partitioning part (9), which is inserted in a detachable manner in the housing (1, 2), is fixed in position therein, and consists of dielectric material. <IMAGE>

Die Steckdosenbox hat ein aus einem Bodendeckel (1) und einem damit lösbar verbundenen, haubenförmigem Oberteil (2) gebildetes, langgestrecktes Gehäuse aus Kunststoff, in dem mindestens eine Steckdose (3) und ein damit elektrisch verbundener, in einem Längenende des Gehäuses angeordneter Steckverbinder (4) sowie mindestens ein Kommunikationseinsatz (5) angeordnet sind. Die Steckdose (3) und der Kommunikationseinsatz (5) sind zugangssetig von einem am Oberteil (2) lösbar gehaltenen Abdeckrahmen (6) umgeben. Der die Steckdose (3) oder Steckdosen (3) und den Steckverbinder (4) aufnehmende Netzstrombereich (7) des Gehäuses (1, 2) ist gegenüber dem den oder die Kommunikationseinsätze (5) aufnehmenden Gehäusebereich (8) durch ein in das Gehäuse (1, 2) lösbar eingesetztes und darin lagefixiertes Abschottungsteil (9) aus Isolierwerkstoff elektrisch abgeschirmt.
