A spring loaded contact pin (10) for making contact with electrical and electronic test pieces for test purposes. It has a sleeve (11), a contact bolt (15), guided directly therein, and at least two springs (12, 13). At least one spring (13) is arranged in the interior of the sleeve which directly guides the contact bolt (15). An additional helical compression spring (12) is arranged on the region (projecting outwards beyond the sleeve (11)) of a rod (20) of the contact bolt (15), as a result of which it is possible to shorten the spring loaded contact pin and to shorten the spring paths, for a given spring force, and hence also to save costs. <IMAGE>

Federkontaktstift (10) zum Kontaktieren von elektrischen und elektronischen Prüflingen für Prüfzwecke. Er weist eine Hülse (11), einen in ihr geradegeführten Kontaktbolzen (15) und mindestens zwei Federn (12, 13) auf. Mindestens eine Feder (13) ist im Inneren der den Kontaktbolzen (15) geradeführenden Hülse angeordnet. Eine zusätzliche Schraubendruckfeder (12) ist auf dem über die Hülse (11) nach außen überstehenden Bereich einer Stange (20) des Kontaktbolzens (15) angeordnet, wodurch sich Verkürzung des Federkontaktstiftes und Verkürzung der Federwege bei gegebener Federkraft und damit auch Kosteneinsparung erreichen lassen.
