Abstract (en)

A modular breaker is formed by associating an auxiliary, in particular differential or emission, tripping block 12 with a multipole breaker block 10. The mechanism 46 for controlling the tripping block 12 is driven by a relay 45 and is connected to the breaker block 10 by a first mechanical link 48 with tripping finger 52, and a second mechanical link 50 with rearming handle 54. In the event of discord between the handles 24, 54 when an unarmed tripping block 12 is associated with a closed breaker block 10, the tripping finger 52 of the first link 48 interacts with a pad 64 for operating the trip bar 26 in order to cause the forced tripping of the breaker block 10. The opening of the latter then allows the coupling of the handles 24, 54 in order to form the second mechanical rearming link 50 which may be one-way or two-way. <IMAGE>
