The test unit is characterised in that it comprises an insulating base clipped onto the apparatus and carrying a conductive strip (30) having two elastic branches (31, 32), the first (31) normally in contact with a stationary contact (34) connected to the main circuit, the second (32) normally separated from a stationary contact (12) of the calibrated test resistor, the first branch (31) being laid in the path of a piece of machinery (36) and the second being able to be repelled by a push-button (18) towards the said contact (12) connected to the test resistor. <IMAGE>
