Abstract (en)
[origin: WO8804906A1] In pull-up window drapery (10), such as a folding roller or a blind, a fabric web (11) is used having on its reverse side several parallel and vertical sets (16, 17) of loops with guiding elements, that can be formed by a folding strip secured to the back (11) of the fabric web. The pulling string (21) is secured to the lower border of the fabric web (11) and extends up to a horizontal support (29) secured to the upper border of the fabric web (11). In order to obtain a flawless appearance of the drapery (10) and to easily adapt it to windows of different heights, the loops extend horizontally in the sets and are formed each of a bundle of weft yarns (24) floating on the fabric web (11) or on the folding band. A link is simultaneously threaded through at least two vertically spaced weft yarn bundles (24), bringing them together and thereby tightening the fabric web located therebetween, thus forming a permanent horizontal fold (44).
