[origin: EP0295492A2] Coloured diffusion images can be produced by a rapid process, in which a first sheet-like material, which contains, on a base, at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one dye donor compound which, on development, is capable of giving a diffusible dye, and/or a second non-photosensitive sheet-like material which contains a binder layer containing therein a salt of a weakly acidic organic compound and of a strong organic base, will be moistened with an aqueous liquid, whereupon the two sheet-like materials are heated to 40 to 120 DEG C in mutual contact of the coated sides and are then separated from one another.
