In order effectively to prevent by simple means the formation of a mound at the end of the working range of the relevant equipment during the loosening of tamped areas, especially sports areas with a slag covering, boundary scrapers (21) are arranged on at least one of the harrow bars at its outer ends, the respective boundary scraper is arranged on the harrow bar so as to be at least approximately parallel to the direction of travel and at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the harrow bars, and the boundary scraper is made continuous on its underside. <IMAGE>
