[origin: WO8804898A1] An elastic foot support to be inserted or incorporated into a shoe has the form of a supporting plate of a resilient, curved flat material provided in its front area with an elastic flexible supporting body with at least two enlargements on its lower side. The supporting plate (1) has in its front area a recess (16) or corresponding incision (3) that extends approximately symmetrically to its longitudinal axis. The supporting body (2) is secured to the supporting plate (1) in such a manner that parts thereof pass through the recess (16) or the incision (3) when the supporting plate is subjected to the load of the foot of the wearer, thus massaging the foot.
