The container has the shape of a customary packaging container (70) which may consist of corrugated cardboard and, if appropriate, have a separate insulation. An exchangeable refrigeration member comprises a refrigeration unit (94) which is arranged on a bridge (98) spanning the container (70) which is open at the top. The evaporator (104) is situated on the underside of the bridge (98) immediately above the merchandise. <IMAGE>

Ein Behälter zur Darbietung kühlungsbedürftiger Waren in Verkaufsräumen weist die Form eines üblichen Verpackungsbehälters (70) auf, der aus Wellpappe bestehen kann und ggf. eine gesonderte Isolierung aufweisen kann. Ein auswechselbares Kühlorgan umfaßt ein Kühlaggregat (94), das auf einer den oben offenen Behälter (70) überspannenden Brücke (98) angeordnet ist. Der Verdampfer (104) befindet sich an der Unterseite der Brücke (98) unmittelbar oberhalb der Waren.
