A table, particularly for cathode ray screen operating positions, with at least one table top (1) adjustable in height, with at least one vertical support strut (2), with a table frame (3), with a vertical guide (4) for the support strut (2) and with a spring leg (5) located between the table frame (3) and the height-adjustable table units, characterized in that one spring end (5) of the spring leg (5) is articulated to the support strut (2) and the other spring end (7) is supported at a specified angle of incidence (alpha ) against a curved rail (8) on table frame (3), that the supported spring end (7) can be displaced along the curved rail (8) by means of a positioning appliance (9) and can be stopped at positions appropriate for different loadings of table top (1), and that the shape of curve of curved rail (8) is so selected that at any positioning point of the supported spring leg (5) the vertical components of force (P1, P2) acting on the support strut (2) are approximately equal at least in both end positions of table top (1).

Es handelt sich um einen Tisch mit einer höhenverstellbaren Tischplatte (1) mit zumindest einem vertikalen Führungsholm (2) und einem Tischgestell (3), wobei zwischen dem Tischgestell und den höhenverstellbaren Tischelementen ein Federbein (5) angeordnet ist. Das Federbein ist einerseits an dem Führungsholm angelenkt, andererseits gegen eine Kurvenschiene (8) abgestützt. Das abgestützte Federende (7) ist auf der Kurvenschiene verfahrbar und in an unterschiedliche Belastungen der Tischplatte angepaßten Positionen arretierbar. Der Kurvenverlauf der Kurvenschiene ist so gewählt, daß bei jeder Positionierung des abgestützten Federendes die in dem Führungsholm wirksamen vertikalen Kraftkomponenten zumindest in beiden Endstellungen der Tischplatte gleich groß sind. Dadurch wird für jede Belastung der Tischplatte nach erfolgter Einstellung des Federbeins in jeder Höhenposition ein Schwebezustand erreicht.
