[origin: JPS6426773A] PURPOSE: To provide a process for dyeing the woven or knit textile of polyester fibers or a mixture thereof with other fibers by rotating and heating the woven or knit textile of polyester fibers or a mixture thereof with the other fibers with a steam/hot air flow from a blower in a jet dyeing machine up to a prescribed temperature, charging a dye dissolved in an organic solvent in a non-finished form, treating the textile for a prescribed time, and then treating the dyed textile with hot water to finish the dyeing. CONSTITUTION: The woven or knit textile of polyester fibers or a mixture thereof with other fibers is charged into a jet dyeing machine, and then bound to form an endless loop-like textile. The formed endless loop-like textile is rotated by the action of a blower blowing steam/hot air, heated up to a prescribed temperature and then held at the temperature. A solution of a pure and non-finished dye in an organic solvent is jetted into the heated gas flow in the jet dyeing machine through a feeding pump, and the textile is treated for a prescribed time. The pressure in the machine is lowered, and hot water is charged into the dyeing machine. The rotation of the textile to be dyed is continued, and then subjected to conventional reducing washing and water washing treatments. Thereby, the dyed product having the same color concentration can uniformly and quickly be obtained with a smaller amount of the dye than those of commercially available product dyes.

Die neu entwickelten Jet-Färbemaschinen mit aerodynamischer Warenfortbewegung erlauben eine drastische Verkürzung des Flottenverhältnisses neben dem Zusatz hochkonzentrierter Farbstoff-Lösungen bzw. -Dispersionen direkt in den antreibenden Gaskreislauf unter isothermen Bedingungen. Voraussetzung dafür sind aber aufbereitete, d.h. gefinishte Farbstoffe. Erfindungsgemäß hat sich nunmehr herausgestellt, daß die aufwendige Finish-Behandlung entbehrlich ist, wenn man nicht gefinishte Dispersionsfarbstoffe hochkonzentriert in geeigneten, vorzugsweise mit Wassser mischbaren, ökologisch bzw. toxikologisch vertretbaren organischen Lösemitteln löst und diese Lösungen nach der neuen Technik gezielt dem umgewälzten Gasstrom zudosiert werden, wobei eine zum Färben geeignete Dispersion der Farbstoffeentsteht, die dann das Farbgut egal anfärbt.
