Arranged inside an at least partially transparent, hollow lighting rod are small incandescent lamps (7) connected to one another by a conductor (6). This conductor (6) is inserted into the lighting rod at one end and guided out of the rod at the other end. Bei einem zumindest zum Teil transparenten, hohlen Leuchtstab sind darin angeordnete Glühlämpchen (7) durch einen Leiter (6) miteinander verbunden. Dieser Leiter (6) ist an einem Ende in den Leuchtstab eingeführt und an dem anderen Ende aus diesem herausgeführt. Der Leuchtstab hat dabei einen über seine gesamte Länge verlaufenden trogförmigen Aufnahmeteil (1), der durch mindestens einen Deckelteil (2) abgedeckt ist.
