[origin: WO8804736A1] A locking cam for locking a pair of tool elements together. The locking cam member (12) is rotatably mounted in one (30) of the tool elements such that a clamping surface engages a female gib surface (24) formed on the other (22) tool element. Clamping screws (40) exert a rotative force on the cam member so as to bring the clamping surface into contact with the female gib surface and forceably lock the tool elements (30) (22) together.

Une came de retenue est utilisée pour retenir ensemble deux éléments d'outil. L'organe de retenue à came (12) est rotativement monté sur un (30) des éléments d'outil de sorte qu'une surface de serrage accroche une surface de clavette creuse (24) formée sur l'autre élément d'outil (22). Des vis de serrage (40) appliquent une force de rotation sur l'organe à came de façon à faire entrer en contact la surface de serrage avec la surface de clavette creuse et à retenir ensemble par pression les éléments d'outil (30) (22).
