[origin: EP0300252A1] The variable-pitch propeller (5) is fastened to a guide body (2) pivotable about an axis (9) and can be lifted above the water surface by pivoting of the guide body (2). Consequently, an adjusting device arranged on the hub (11) of the variable-pitch propeller (5) and rotating with the propeller hub (11) can be set without problem by means of a handle (15), as a result of which a noticeable saving in fuel is obtained by setting the pitch of the propeller blades in accordance with the style of sailing intended. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Der Verstellpropeller (5) ist an einem, um eine Achse (9) schwenkbaren Führungskörper (2) befestigt und kann durch Schwenken desselben über die Wasserfläche gehoben werden. Dadurch ist eine an der Propellernabe (11) des Verstellpropellers (5) angeordnete, mit der Propellernabe (11) mitdrehende Verstelleinrichtung mittels eines Handgriffes (15) problemlos einstellbar, wodurch durch Einstellen der Steigung der Propellerblätter entsprechend der vorgesehenen Fahrweise eine spührbare Brennstoffeinsparung erreicht wird.
