Abstract (en)
In a method for improving the composition of exhaust gases in Otto engines, in which the output signal of an oxygen measuring probe arranged in the exhaust duct of the Otto engine is fed to a regulator and the output voltage of the regulator forms a control variable for regulating the air/fuel ratio, a further voltage, which is taken from a stored performance characteristic as a function of operating parameters of the Otto engine, is superimposed on the output voltage of the regulator. In this way the performance characteristic can be adapted to changes in the Otto engine whilst the engine is in operation. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Verfahren zur Verbesserung des Abgasverhaltens von Ottomotoren, wobei das Ausgangssignal einer im Abgaskanal des Ottomotors angeordneten Sauerstoffmeßsonde einem Regler zugeführt wird und die Ausgangsspannung des Reglers eine Stellgröße zur Regelung des Luft/Kraftstoff-Verhältnisses bildet, wird der Ausgangsspannung des Reglers eine weitere Spannung überlagert, die einem gespeicherten Kennfeld in Abhängigkeit von Betriebsparametern des Ottomotors entnommen wird. Dabei kann das Kennfeld während des Betriebes des Ottomotors an Veränderungen des Ottomotors angepaßt werden.
