Abstract (en)
The device has reinforcing elements 12 to 15. During the operation of such a sealing device, it has been found that zone 26 of the sealing device tends to bend at high speeds of revolution. At the same time, the annular rib 18 and the annular lip 20 are pressed against the sealing surface 21. This results in high wear and premature failure. It is proposed to vulcanise a reinforcing element 24, 25 into zone 26 of the seal body. <IMAGE>

Eine Dichtungsvorrichtung für Walzenlager weist Bewehrungselemente (12 bis 15) auf. Im Betrieb einer derartigen Dichtungsvorrichtung hat es sich gezeigt, daß der Bereich (26) der Dichtungsvorrichtung bei hohen Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeiten zum Verbiegen neigt. Dabei wird die Ringrippe (18) und die Ringlippe (20) gegen die Dichtungsfläche (21) gepreßt. Die Folgen davon sind hoher Verschleiß und frühzeitiger Ausfall. Es wird vorgeschlagen ein Bewehrungselement (24, 25) in den Bereich (26) des Dichtungskörpers einzuvulkanisieren.
