Abstract (en)

The present invention relates to a machine for the manufacture of containers produced with a sheet of foldable material such as cardboard, wood and the like. The machine (1) comprises: conveyor means (2) which move the sheets through a punching station (4), means (5) for positioning the sheets exiting from the punching station (4) on a folding die (6), so that the latter contacts a central region of the punched sheet corresponding to the bottom of the container to be produced, and folding means (7) which contact in sequence peripheral portions of the punched sheet which constitute the lateral faces of the container to be produced. Said folding means (7) move the peripheral portions of the sheet to fold around the folding die (6). The machine (1) furthermore comprises stapling means (8) which act on parts of the portions of the sheet folded and mutually superimposed to obtain the assembly of the container.
