Abstract (en)

[origin: JPS6487113A] PURPOSE: To separate a circular saw blade simply from the cutting surface of a workpiece to be processed after the cutting operation by mounting a replace type tool unit at the free end of a circular saw shaft slidably on the rotary drive system and keeping the contact while a compressing tool puts the tool unit in pressure contact with a stopper surface. CONSTITUTION: With operation of a pressing medium cylinder 33, a pressing tool 35 presses a tool unit 14 formed from a flange ring 11, circular saw blade 12, and flange ring 9 to a stopper surface 6 of a saw shaft end 5, and a workpiece to be processed W is cut in the specified manner. Therein the saw blade 12 cuts the workpiece W while a transmission case is revolving, and when the workpiece is removed, the pressing tool 35 is separated from the unit 14 together with a sleeve 29 with the operation of the cylinder 33, and the unit 14 slides on the shaft end 5 for a minor distance under the action of a compression spring 17, and the saw blade 12 separates from the cutting surface of the workpiece W, and the transmission case is reset to the initial position. Accordingly the saw blade 12 is separated from the cut surface of the workpiece W, and there is no risk that the cut surfaces are damaged.
