[origin: EP0297586A2] In a double-lift open-shed Jacquard machine, the mutually countermoving lifting knives (2, 3) of two sets of lifting knives are hinged at their ends via lever arrangements (10, 14, 18, 22) to oscillating shafts (12, 16; 20, 24). Said shafts are mounted in the machine frame (1) and are pivoted via a positive connection to the cam (37) of a cam drive. The rotating shaft (38) of the cam drive is coupled to the drive motor. The oscillating shafts can be mounted along their longitudinal extension in the machine frame (1) via supports. In this way the masses to be moved are substantially reduced in a simpler and easier-to-assemble design. <IMAGE>
