Plastic frame for windows, doors or the like, having at least one frame spar which consists of a multi-compartment profile and has an end face which faces an adjacent spar of a second frame, from which end face projects a frame covering which covers the gap between the two frames, and which spar has a metal reinforcement profile. To make the plastic frame more burglar-proof, it is designed in such a way that the reinforcement profile is an L-shaped outer cover strip, one leg of which covers the end face of the frame spar and the other leg of which covers the frame-covering surface on the gap side.

Kunststoffrahmen für Fenster, Türen od. dgl., mit mindestens einem aus einem Mehrkammerprofil bestehenden Rahmenholm (10), der eine einem benachbarten Holm (11) eines zweiten Rahmens zugewendete Stirnfläche (12) hat, von der aus ein den Spalt (13) zwischen den beiden Rahmen abdeckender Rahmenüberschlag (14) vorspringt, und der ein metallenes Versteifungsprofil hat. Zur Verbesserung der Einbruchssicherung wird der Kunststoffrahmen so ausgebildet, daß das Versteifungsprofil eine L-förmige Außenabdeckleiste (15) ist, deren einer Schenkel (16) die Stirnfläche (12) des Rahmenholms (10) und deren anderer Schenkel (17) die spaltseitige Rahmenüberschlagfläche (18) abdeckt.
