Un procédé et dispositif de mesure de détection d'un projectile (7), ou d'éléments de celui-ci, en vol, opérationnel dans l'aire de la cible, qui permet de détecter, grâce à un capteur inductif, la charge électrique transmise au projectile (7) ou aux éléments de celui-ci, par friction avec l'air et/ou par le nuage de gaz généré à la mise à feu ou à l'explosion, et permettant d'évaluer le point zéro ainsi obtenu. le signal obtenu peut être utilisé pour mesurer la durée de vol, la vitesse, pour l'analyse temporelle de la répartition des éclats ou analogue.
