Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH0197273A] PURPOSE: To produce a building member based on a velour woven fabric comprising commercial yarns and having two layers of an upper layer and a lower layer and intermediate piles forming rigid elements separating the layers as a base and having a high flexual strength and a high pressure resistance. CONSTITUTION: This velour woven fabric comprises commercial yarns such as aramid fibers, carbon fibers, ceramic fibers or especially glass fibers and has at least a first layer 2 and a second layer 3 and intermediate piles 4 forming rigid elements connecting the layers and separating the layers. The intermediate piles 4 are composed of slightly twisted single piles 4' and 4" or twisted 8-shaped letters, whereby the single piles 4 and 4" in their overlapping transfer crossing- over region 5 are connected to one another. The woven fabric is impregnated with a resin, which is hardened. The woven fabric is then compressed to remove the resin so as to apply a resetting force of the intermediate piles 4.
