Abstract (en)
In order to simplify the procedure of a process for the final drying of sulphur dioxide which may contain hydrocarbons and to avoid a possible slurry formation of dry acid or damage to the adsorbent by the hydrocarbons, the water is separated off from the SO2 by distillation, during which the heavy hydrocarbons which may also be present in the SO2 are also separated off. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Es wird ein Verfahren zur Feintrocknung von gegebenenfalls Kohlenwasserstoffe enthaltendem Schwefeldioxid beschrieben. Um den Verfahrensablauf zu vereinfachen, sowie eine etwaige Verschlammung von Trockensäure oder Adsorbensschädigung durch die Kohlenwasserstoffe zu vermeiden, wird das Wasser destillativ vom SO2 abgetrennt, wobei die im SO2 gegebenenfalls enthaltenen schweren Kohlenwasserstoffe ebenfalls mit abgetrennt werden.
