The invention relates to a load adjusting device with a control element (11) capable of influencing an actuator (16) determining the output of an internal combustion engine, which control element is connected to a driver (4) coupled to an accelerator pedal (1) and is also movable by means of an electrical actuating drive (9), with a set value detection element (7) assigned to the driver (4), an actual value detection element (12) interacting with the latter and acting on the electrical actuating drive (9), the electrical actuating drive (9) being controllable as a function of the values detected by an electronic control device (22). It is the object of the invention to create a load adjusting device which is of compact design and will permit a defined feedback to the actuator and hence the throttle valve or the injection pump in all load states, in particular in the event of a failure of the electronic control device. The solution according to the invention is characterised in that the driver (4) and the control element (11) are coupled by means of a coupling spring (13) and the control element (11) is pretensioned in the direction of a stop (14) on the driver (4). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lastverstelleinrichtung mit einem auf ein die Leistung einer Brennkraftmaschine bestimmenden Stellglied (16) einwirkbaren Steuerelement (11), das mit einem mit einem Fahrpedal (1) gekoppelten Mitnehmer (4) verbunden ist und zusätzlich mittels eines elektrischen Stellantriebes (9) bewegbar ist, mit einem dem Mitnehmer (4) zugeordneten Sollwerterfassungselement (7), einem mit diesem zusammenwirkenden und auf den elektrischen Stellantrieb (9) ein wirkenden Istwerterfassungselement (12), wobei der elektrische Stellantrieb (9) in Abhängigkeit von den erfaßten Werten von einer elektronischen Regeleinrichtung (22) ansteuerbar ist. Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, eine Lastverstelleinrichtung zu schaffen, die kompakt ausgebildet ist und in allen Lastzuständen, insbesondere beim Ausfall der elektronischen Regeleinrichtung eine definierte Rückwirkung auf das Stellglied und damit die Drosselklappe bzw. die Einspritzpumpe ermöglicht. Die erfindungsgemäße Lösung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Mitnehmer (4) und das Steuerelement (11) mittels einer Koppelfeder (13) gekoppelt ist und das Steuerelement (11) in Richtung eines Anschlages (14) des Mitnehmers (4) vorgespannt ist.
