Abstract (en)
The resonator involves a rotationally symmetric body (21) pref. of Cr-Ni steel with a disc-shaped base (22) and a working plate (26), joined by a relatively narrow neck (25). It is vibrated by a plane symmetrical piezoceramic ultrasonic thickness-mode vibrator 827) coupled to the under surface of the disc (22), whose upper surface (24) is a paraboloid of revolution about the axis (30) of symmetry. The centre of the working plate (26) lies in the vicinity of the focus (F3) of the paraboloid (24). Ultrasonic waves excited by the vibrator (27) are focussed in the region of the working plate (26), where the liq, is broken up into very fine droplets.

In die Einspritzdüse ist zur Erfassung des Einspritzbeginns und/oder der Einspritzdauer eine Induktionsspule (26) mit einem zentralen Magnetkern (30) eingebaut, die mit einem mit der Ventilnadel (15) gekoppelten Anker (32) zusammenarbeitet. Für eine gute Signalbildung ist es durch federnd nachgiebige Lagerung des Magnetkerns (30) bekannt, den Anfangsluftspalt möglichst klein zu halten und einen Restluftspalt ganz zu vermeiden. Das Federelement (38) benötigt jedoch Einbauraum in Achsrichtung der Einspritzdüse bzw. erschwert die Anordnung von elektrischen Anschlußmitteln der Induktionsspule. Um Baulänge zu sparen bzw. Einbauraum für elektrische Anschlußmittel zu gewinnen, ist das elastisch verformbare Federelement (38) zwischen Vertilnadel (15) und Anker (32) angeordnet. Der Vorschlag ist anwendbar bei Fahrzeugen oder Prüfständen mit einer den Beginn und/oder Dauer der einzelnen Einspritzvorgänge erfassenden Auswerteschaltung.
