[origin: EP0300473A1] In order to create a jaw for clamping devices, in particular for clamping clips, having at least one pressure piece held by means of a tilting joint on a clamping member and possessing a pressure surface, which jaw is adapted both for flat surfaces and also for corner regions or curved regions of a workpiece, it is proposed that the jaw comprise a carrier on which two pressure pieces are held by tilting joints, and that each pressure piece be tiltable about in each case one of two axes extending parallel and at a distance from one another. <IMAGE>
