[origin: WO8805637A1] Helmet provided with a signal ensuring the user that the locking of the retention system is totally achieved. In the case represented, the signal is a sound source (9) which is power supplied by a battery (8). The attachment plate (2) of the chin strap to the shell is also part of the power supply circuit for the signal (9). The closing of such circuit takes place when the force exerted against the textile tape (4) by the user's head is sufficient to establish contact between the flexible blade (19) and the part (2). The signal stops emitting when said force disappears upon removal of the helmet or when the chin strap (7) is sufficiently tensioned towards the inside of the helmet and is therefore properly fastened to separate the flexible blade (6) from its contact point on the extension (13) of the part (2). Said device is particularly adapted to helmets for motorcyclists.

Casque équipé d'un signal permettant à l'utilisateur d'être assuré que le verrouillage du système de rétention est totalement effectué. Dans le cas représenté, le signal est une source sonore (9) alimentée par une pile (8). La plaque d'attache (2) de la jugulaire à la coque est aussi une partie du circuit d'alimentation du signal (9). La fermeture de ce circuit intervient lorsque la force exercée contre le ruban textile (4) par la tête de l'utilisateur est suffisante pour établir le contact entre la lame élastique (19) et la pièce (2). Le signal cesse d'émettre lorsque cette force disparaît -lors du retrait du casque- ou lorsque la jugulaire (7) est suffisamment tendue vers l'intérieur du casque -donc correctement bouclée- pour décoller la lame élastique (6) de son point d'appui sur le prolongement (13) de la pièce (2). Ce dispositif est particulièrement adapté aux casques pour motocyclistes.
