Abstract (en)
A railway truck with two variable-height headstocks which each carry buffers (3, 4) and means (2) for coupling to other trucks, and are positioned orthogonal to the ends of two longitudinal members (5, 6) delimiting a load floor (7), the truck comprising at least one monobloc headstock (1) mobile vertically in a plane orthogonal to that of the load floor; the headstock is moved by movement members (19, 20) and can be locked in at least two positions by locking members (16, 17, 18) which are independent of the movement members.
