Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0301313A2] A photographic recording material with at least one layer containing a proteinaceous binder, which has been hardened with a compound of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1> is hydrogen or methyl, preferably hydrogen, m is the number 0 or 1 and, for the case that m is 0, R<2> is the radical <IMAGE> or a monovalent, unsubstituted or substituted linear or branched, aliphatic C1-C18 radical, a monovalent, unsubstituted or substituted cycloaliphatic C5-C6 radical, a monovalent, unsubstituted or substituted aliphatic-aromatic C7-C10 radical or a monovalent unsubstituted or substituted aromatic C6-C10 radical and, for the case that m = 1, R<2> is a divalent unsubstituted or substituted, linear or branched aliphatic C2-C18 radical, a divalent, unsubstituted or substituted cycloaliphatic C5-C12 radical, a divalent, unsubstituted or substituted aliphatic-aromatic C7-C10 radical or a divalent, unsubstituted or substituted aromatic C6-C10 radical, is distinguished by significantly improved mechanical properties such as high layer melting points and high wet scratching resistance with simultaneously short storage times, without the photographic properties being adversely affected.
