Abstract (en)
A laundry pre-treatment composition is provided in stick form which is suitable for pre-spotting onto stained fabric before laundering. The composition comprises a water-soluble surfactant binder having a dropping point in the range 30 to 100 DEG C, a bleach activator and a bleach stabiliser. The binder can comprise an ethoxylated alcohol optionally with a fatty alcohol and/or a polyethylene glycol. The activator is preferably tetra acetyl ethylenediamine. The stabiliser is a sequestrant, especially a phosphonic acid sequestrant. A process for producing the composition is also described.
