Bei einer Zweitakt-Brennkraftmaschine mit Kurbelgehäusespülung mit einem Überströmkanal (2), dessen Überströmöffnung (12) in den Zylinder (1) vom Motorkolben (4) gesteuert wird ist zur Verbesserung der Gemischbildung sowie zur Verringerung des Kraftstoffverbrauches und der Kohlenwasserstoff-Emission vorgesehen, daß der Einspritzstrahl (7) der Einspritzdüse (5) auf die dem Zylinderraum (1) zugewandte Seite (8) und zumindest überwiegend auf die der Auslaßöffnung (13) gegenüberliegende Hälfte des Kolbenbodens (4) gerichtet ist, wobei die Strahlachse (7') des Einspritzstrahles (7) mit der Kolbenachse (10) einen Winkel (α) einschließt, der kleiner als 90° ist.
