Abstract (en)

[origin: JPS6445862A] PURPOSE: To provide a method comprising such a practice that, using a small- volume treatment tank, a replenishing level is controlled so as to exactly coincide with the quantity of a treatment liquor carried off by the outgoing length of a material to keep the concentration of the treatment liquor in the tank constant with a high degree of accuracy. CONSTITUTION: This method comprises the following practice: a treatment tank 3 is filled with a treatment liquor 6, its level is monitored with a float 7, the resulting level signal is transmitted via a potentiometer 8 to a comparator 9; a solenoid valve 10 is controlled by the comparator 9, the quantity signal of water measured by a water gauge 12 is transmitted to a microprocessor 13; in response to the result, the respective necessary quantities of additives are fed from the corresponding storage tanks 17, 18, 19 via the corresponding replenishing pumps 14, 15, 16 into a water pipe 20 and then fed via a nozzle 21 to the treatment tank 3.
