In a signalling horn (1), in particular for motor vehicles, having a diaphragm which is moved by a drive and which acts on a pressure chamber, having a funnel which adjoins the pressure chamber and consists of a first part with a constant cross-section, of a second part which widens conically and of a third part (3) which widens exponentially and ends in a sound output opening (4), the first part and the second part being wound up parallel to the diaphragm plane (11) and the sound output opening (4) being arranged essentially parallel to the diaphragm plane (11), the third part is wound up essentially parallel to the diaphragm plane in order to achieve as large a sound pressure level as possible with as little space requirement as possible. In addition, this third part of the funnel has a plane surface (5) which is swivelled out of the diaphragm plane (11) and whose one side forms one side of the sound output opening.

Bei einem Signalhorn (1), insbesondere für Kraftfahrzeuge, mit einer Membran, die durch einen Antrieb bewegt wird und die auf eine Druckkammer wirkt, mit einem Trichter, der sich an die Druckkammer anschließt, der aus einem ersten Teil mit gleichbleibendem Querschnitt, aus einem sich konisch erweiternden zweiten Teil und aus einem sich exponentiell erweiternden dritten Teil (3) besteht, das in einer Schallaustrittsöffnung (4) endet, wobei das erste Teil und das zweite Teil parallel zu der Membranebene (11) aufgewickelt sind, und wobei die Schallaustrittsöffnung (4) im wesentlichen parallel zur Membranebene (11) angeordnet ist, ist zur Erzielung eines möglichst großen Schalldruckpegels bei möglichst wenig Platzbedarf das dritte Teil im wesentlichen parallel zur Membranebene aufgewickelt. Weiterhin weist dieser dritte Teil des Trichters eine plane Fläche (5) auf, die aus der Membranebene (11) herausgeschwenkt ist und deren eine Seite eine Seite der Schallaustrittsöffnung bildet.
