Abstract (en)
The horn illuminator for reflector antennas with rectangular radiation pattern is provided with a ring (4) of electrically conductive material coaxially placed before the horn mouth (3) a distance of lambda /4 therefrom and in a plane parallel to that of said mouth (3). The electrically conductive ring (4) is supported by a cap of polytetrafluoroethylene material acting as a protection therefor.
