Abstract (en)

[origin: JPS6469344A] PURPOSE: To supply a large amount of sheets per a unit time in a state that the sheets are correctly registered, by feeding the sheets by the frictional connection in an accelerating period, and driving a picking claw system at a peripheral velocity almost the same as that of an impression cylinder when the picking claw system transports the sheets in cooperation with a claw held by the impression cylinder. CONSTITUTION: The sheets are guided in a direction of an arrow (a) on a make- ready table 5, and guided by a feed belt 9, and a side position of the sheets are aligned. When a front edge of the sheet is brought into contact with a front gage 33, a control plate 28 rotates a lever 23 through a roller 25 against the action of a compression spring 27, whereby a rope 22 is rewound from a disc 21, a feed roller 18 is accelerated in a direction of an arrow (c), and a control shaft 30 rotates a revolving lever 31. The sheet is held between a feed roller 18 and an impression roller 32, the front edge of the sheet is moved toward a transfer cylinder 34 by the front gage 33, and the sheet is fed into a picking claw system 49. The transfer cylinder 34 is accelerated at a peripheral velocity almost same as that of the impression cylinder 4, and a picking claw 49 transfers the sheet to a picking claw 52.
